Practicalities
It is important that you read the included ‘Walk Safely’ notes for our full advice regarding walking holidays, and we trust that you have already read the ‘Preparing for your walking holiday’ document.
What you need to take
We strongly advise sturdy walking boots or shoes with a good grip due to the stony terrain and paved paths that are slippery in wet weather on some of the routes.
Luggage transfers
Your luggage is transported by the hoteliers or local taxi companies. On each of the mornings when you are moving on, please make sure you leave your luggage in reception and inform someone that it is there, ready for the transfer. NB one bag per person only please
Please use the Inntravel luggage transfer label to indicate the name of each hotel you will be visiting and the date. While it may be possible for you to travel with your bags to the next hotel, please do not assume you can do this; if you wish to do so, please discuss with the hotelier or taxi driver.
Please note the following:
On the day you leave Hotel Due Torre in Bomerano, your luggage must be in reception by 0900.
Dietary requirements
We will have passed on any special dietary requirements you may have informed us of, but suggest that they also be reconfirmed locally.
Meals
You stay on a half-board basis at Corpo di Cava and Bomerano, B&B at Positano, and B&B with dinner on the first night at Ravello.
We include picnics on two days of your holiday, when you walk from Cava dei Tirreni to Ravello and from Bomerano to Positano. Please make your own arrangements for lunch on the other days.
Swimming
There are outdoor pools at Corpo di Cava, Ravello and Bomerano; pools are usually available from May to September, although exact opening dates of these will depend on weather conditions and other circumstances.
