GPS Navigation

To enhance the detailed notes we have created for your holiday, our travel team has created digital maps so if you can follow your daily route using GPS as an additional navigational aid via a Mobile App or a GPS device.

Where can I find these files?

You will find these files on your My Inntravel page.

How to us the files on a GPS device

Click on the file to download it to your computer and follow your device instructions to upload it to your device. You may need to download a specific country map to access the files.

How to us the files on your mobile device

To use a mobile device you will need to download a suitable App. We don’t want to recommend one because it comes down to personal choice but our team use Komoot, Ride with GPS, Wikiloc, Bike GPX and Alltrails. These are all available in App stores and usually charge a small fee. Once you have the App, download the files to your device and when prompted, click on the App you would like to open the file. GPS Apps use a lot of power so if you plan to use it for a full day, it may be handy to carry a battery pack.

Use the Inntravel holiday notes for the best experience

Our route notes offer both practical and inspiring information and are more detailed than the GPS tracks we provide. From tricky junctions and navigational issues to opportunities to enjoy the best views and points of interest, your route notes are intended as your primary holiday information. We recommend taking time to read these before you set off and carrying them with you.
