One of Ravello’s longest-standing hotels, the friendly, family-run Bonadies has been welcoming guests since 1880. The hotel is located in Ravello’s lofty historic quarter, which enjoys excellent, far-reaching views while also being within easy reach of the central square, where many of the town’s cafés and restaurants can be found; as your stay is on a bed-and-breakfast basis, with dinner included on the 1st night, you are free to take your pick of these. The hotel does have its own well-regarded restaurant should you prefer to dine in, as well as a small swimming pool and spacious roof terrace, both of which overlook the beautiful Amalfi Coast.

• Cumpa Cosimo – along the Via Roma before reaching the central Piazza Duomo; “basic décor, but the food is of a good standard and reasonably priced, with a wide menu”.
